The subject of the competition is the development of a masterplan for the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskoye site, in accordance with the requirements that will be specified in the Competition Brief.
The purpose of the competition is to select three finalists from the eight masterplans developed by 8 pre-qualified companies. Type of competition - international two-stage competition. The first stage is the preliminary qualification and selection of eight participants for the second stage of the competition. The second stage of the competition is the development of masterplans for the IFC and the selection of the three finalists.

Upon the close of the competition, Rublyovo-Arkhangelskoye CJSC will hold commercial negotiations with the finalists in order to determine which company will be invited to participate in further development of the project.
Competition participants will be consortia of companies consisting of urban planners, architects, engineers, landscape architects, sustianability experts, transportation specialists and cost consultants. It is expected that international participants will invite a Russian consultant to their team, to ensure their masterplan is compliant with Russian town planning rules and regulations. Companies are entitled to take part in the competition if they have experience in masterplan development of areas of at least 30 hectares.
SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION
Admissions of Applications start when the Competition Documentation is published on the Competition Website and end on 4 October 2013 at 6:00 p. m. (Moscow time). Applications are deemed properly submitted if submitted in an electronic form and in a physical form before expiry of this time limit.
Applications should be submitted in an electronic form through the Competition Website (My Account section) and in a physical form by mail or courier service. If there are discrepancies between the electronic version and the physical version of the Application,the version submitted in a physical form shall prevail.
Any expenses incurred by Applicants in connection with preparation and submission of Applications will not be reimbursed. The materials and documents constituting the physical form of Applications will not be returned.
The requirements as to the composition, contents and form of an Application are set out in Schedule 2 of the Competition Rules and Regulations.
